Dark Storm Industries is a leading American firearms manufacturer known for combining precision machining, advanced engineering, and skilled craftsmanship to produce reliable, compliant, and high-performance firearms.

In 2024, Dark Storm Industries expanded its operations with the relocation to a state-of-the-art, 13,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Rockledge, Florida. This move marked a new chapter in the company’s growth, allowing for greater production capacity, streamlined logistics, and continued innovation—all while staying true to our founding principles of quality and compliance.

Design & Engineering

Every DSI firearm begins with innovative design. Our experienced team uses advanced CAD software to develop detailed 3D models that prioritize functionality, ergonomics, and compliance with state and federal law. These digital blueprints allow us to simulate and refine every component before it enters production.

Materials & Machining

We use only premium domestic 7075-T6 aluminum, steel, and other carefully selected alloys. These materials are CNC-machined on cutting-edge equipment by skilled technicians to ensure consistent tolerances and exceptional fit and finish—whether it’s a lower receiver, bolt carrier group, or precision barrel.

Quality Assurance

From raw material to finished firearm, every step is subject to strict quality control. Parts are measured, inspected, and tested for dimensional accuracy and surface finish. We maintain tight tolerances and rigorous standards across every platform we build.

Finishing & Coating

All aluminum components are finished with Mil-Spec Type III Hardcoat Anodizing for enhanced surface hardness, abrasion resistance, and longevity. This process ensures that DSI firearms hold up under real-world conditions while maintaining a clean, professional appearance.

Assembly & Testing

Our Rockledge facility houses dedicated assembly stations where firearms are hand-built by trained armorers. Every completed firearm undergoes thorough function testing and inspection to verify accuracy, safety, and overall performance before leaving the factory.
